Restaurant service and running the dining room. One single shift from 3 pm to 11 pm, with a dinner break. You work with the restaurant team and partly with the kitchen and reception.

Cosa conta: la tecnica di sala, l'inglese con gli ospiti, un minimo di tecnica di cucina e un'infarinatura sui vini, soprattutto quelli della Costa d'Amalfi.

What matters: table service technique, English with guests, some basic cooking knowledge and a grounding in wine, especially Amalfi Coast wines.

You set up the line in the morning, work on preparations from lunch service and, after a training period, run a line of your own. You report to the chef. Shifts of 9-10 hours including breaks, straight or split. Start date: 13 February 2027.

Cosa conta: la voglia di imparare, l'ordine sul pass, saper ascoltare lo chef e non farsi prendere dall'ansia quando arrivano quattro comande insieme. E non sprecare niente: se di una zucchina usi solo l'esterno, trovi il modo di usare anche l'interno.

What matters: wanting to learn, keeping the pass tidy, listening to the chef and staying calm when four orders come in at once. And wasting nothing: if you only use the outside of a courgette, you find a way to use the inside too.

Dalle 23 alle 9. Scambio di consegne col ricevimento, chiusure di cassa dell'hotel e del ristorante, invio delle schedine, controllo della hall e delle auto. Alle 6 accendi i forni per cornetti e brioche, prima che arrivi chi fa la colazione. Prendi il posto di chi va in pensione, con un periodo di affiancamento.

From 11 pm to 9 am. Handover with reception, closing the hotel and restaurant tills, sending guest registrations, checking the lobby and the cars. At 6 am you switch on the ovens for croissants and pastries, before the breakfast team arrives. You take over from a colleague who is retiring, with a period of shadowing.

L'Hotel Margherita è un 4 stelle a Praiano con 28 camere vista mare o sul giardino dei limoni, la piscina panoramica sulla terrazza e il ristorante M'Ama. Accanto all'hotel gestiamo due ville private, una a cento metri e una sul mare. Gli ospiti arrivano da tutto il mondo e trovano un servizio completo: la navetta per la spiaggia, le esperienze in Costiera, la cooking class, il benessere in terrazza.

Hotel Margherita is a 4-star hotel in Praiano with 28 rooms overlooking the sea or the lemon garden, a panoramic pool on the terrace and M'Ama restaurant. Alongside the hotel we run two private villas, one a hundred metres away and one by the sea. Guests come from all over the world and find a complete service: the beach shuttle, experiences along the Coast, cooking classes, wellness on the terrace.

Apriamo a febbraio e chiudiamo a gennaio: undici mesi di ospiti, non una stagione di tre. Chi lavora bene può arrivare al tempo indeterminato.

We open in February and close in January: eleven months of guests, not a three-month season. People who do well can move to a permanent contract.
